Mapping Canada's Cleantech Pathway:
Opportunities in Singapore & Indonesia
This project was prepared for our client, Reaction (RXN) Hub - a not-for-profit innovation hub based in Kingston, Ontario, dedicated to supporting the scale-up and manufacturing of chemical technologies that address complex global challenges.
As the 2nd report in our “Mapping Canada’s Cleantech Pathway” series, it analyzes why now is the right time for Canadian cleantech to engage in Southeast Asia. The report covers:
-
32 historical SEA investments in Canadian cleantech (2015–2025)
-
Strategic entry points: Why Singapore and Indonesia matter
-
Two emerging sectors for Canadian innovators in the region
-
16 ecosystem players to engage for capital access & partnerships
Mapping Canada's Cleantech Pathway:
Opportunities in Japan
02
This project is delivered for our Client Reaction (RXN) Hub, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the scale-up and manufacturing of chemical technologies that address complex challenges based in Kingston, Ontario.
The Report aims to identify Japanese corporates and ecosystem players with potential to invest in, adopt, or acquire Canadian clean technologies, and to provide actionable insights into their investment behaviour and engagement pathways.
The 2025 trade turmoil is a wake-up call for Canada to reduce US reliance and take bolder steps to Asia for diversified capital and supply chain. For the cleantech sector, Japan is an ideal entry point, with urgent decarbonization goals and a track record of corporate-led investment overseas.

Mapping Canada's Cleantech Pathway:
Opportunities in Cambodia
We had the honor to join the Cambodia-Canada Investment Roundtable led by H.E. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia. We'd like to share key insights and reflections from the roundtable via a Briefing Report, covering:
-
Why invest in Cambodia post-2025
-
Opportunities for Canada's cleantech

This Briefing builds on our earlier report, “Mapping Canada’s Cleantech Pathways: Opportunities in Singapore and Indonesia”, extending the analysis to Cambodia’s cleantech priorities and opportunities for Canada.

象形科技:越南出海与液冷新业务探索
This project was prepared for XXT, a China-based precision manufacturing and thermal management solutions company, to explore two growth paths: expanding its existing capabilities into Vietnam and evaluating cold plates as a new business line.
-
Benchmarked Vietnam against other Southeast Asian high-end manufacturing hubs, then designed a phased entry path for XXT based on evolving policy incentives after 2025, and mapped out concrete customer opportunities in Vietnam.
-
Explored where XXT can sit in the liquid cooling cold plate value chain through differentiated manufacturing roles and target customers in the liquid cooling ecosystem.

Non-Dilutive Cleantech Funding Programs in Canada
A quick mapping of non-dilutive funding opportunities for Canadian cleantech Founders. Canada offers incredible grant opportunities at both the federal and provincial levels for cleantech startups. VCs often expect Founders to acquire non-dilutive funding before they put money in. Founders should fully explore these resources for a smarter capital stack.
